If you are new to our clinic and looking to book your first appointment we would be happy to help you find the best clinician to meet your needs. You can send us an email using the contact form on our website. Or, if you would prefer to talk with someone by phone, you can use our phone consult option. You can do this by choosing the phone consult option (offered by Alisha and Carissa). During the phone consult you can ask any questions you might have. There is no cost for the phone consult. Alisha or Carissa can book you in with any Dragonfly clinician who is accepting new clients.

Phone messages and emails will be returned within one to two business days.

Counselling

Rhonda is a registered social worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2006 and completed her Master of Social Work degree in 2023 through the University of Regina. Rhonda has 16 years experience working with children, youth and families in a clinical mental health and education setting. She has experience providing therapy and working with youth and families in crisis. Rhonda believes in a collaborative approach to counselling using evidence based, trauma informed and culturally sensitive therapies. She is down to earth and non-judgmental. Rhonda is passionate about working with youth and families to reach their goals and support positive mental health.

Esther is a registered social worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. She completed her bachelor of social work degree at the University of Regina in 2005. She has over 15 years of experience working in Mental Health. She has worked with children, youth, families as well as adults in a clinical mental health setting.

Esther uses evidence based, holistic and trauma informed practice. Esther is a down to earth, easy to talk to clinician who uses humour to build relationships.

Carissa is a registered social worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2008 and her Master of Social Work degree in 2013. Carissa has over twelve years of experience in the field of social work and she has always worked with children, youth, and families. For the past seven years she has worked in a clinical mental health setting with children, youth, and families. She has experience providing therapy, doing outreach work, and working with families in crisis. Carissa uses evidence based treatments to help families achieve real changes in their day to day life.

Crystal is a registered social worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, completing her Bachelor of Social Worker in 2007 through the University of Regina. Crystal has 20 years of experience working with children, youth and families in a clinical mental health setting. She has experience providing therapy and doing outreach work with youth and families in crisis. Her passion is working with individuals and families in order to be successful in the home, work and in their day to day life. Crystal works from a trauma informed lens and offers a wholistic approach to her therapy. Crystal has taken various training sessions related to Perinatal Mood Disorders and has personal experience with helping LGBTQ2S navigate the health care system. She is a trained Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula and End of Life Doula. Crystal is dedicated to assisting young people and their families, working with the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of their health.

She has several years of experience working in a clinical mental health setting and has worked in education and addictions. Neeja uses an intersectional approach to explore how people experience the world and how their experiences are shaped and influenced by their identity. Melanie has a special interest in working with children who are experiencing the impact that high conflict separation and divorce has on children. She works with families toward positive co-parenting relationships where everyone involved benefits, especially the child.

Melanie understands the challenges young people face when caught in the middle of family conflict due to divorce and offers a compassionate and supportive approach tailored to their needs. She provides a safe space for children and teens to express their emotions, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to find their voice through divorce so they can be heard and seen.

Utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques, including solution-focused therapy, activity-based therapy tailored to the child or youth’s age and developmental stage, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, Melanie effectively supports children and youth ages 5-18.
